Orane Figuet
Orane is a veterinary surgeon who graduated from the University of Liège in 2021. After two years working in different areas of veterinary medicine, she decided to complete her knowledge with a master's degree in epidemiology. Originally from France and a keen traveler, Canada has always been high on her list of countries to visit. That's why she joined Hélène Carabin's team at the Université de Montréal this fall. Because of her particular interest in zoonoses and vector-borne diseases, her research within the chair focused on the distribution of symptoms among people diagnosed with neurocysticercosis, co-supervised with Kate Zinszer. She enjoys a wide range of outdoor sports (hiking, horse riding, diving and more...).
